When we found our home at 2021 Norhurst Way we were immediately attracted to the quiet street and head over heels for the large, flat yard. I could picture gardens, BBQs, and future kiddos running around. Once we stepped inside, we couldn't help but fall in love with the hardwood floors and many areas of living space.

What we love about our home is the easy access to the backyard, and the amount of space we have outside for soccer games, gardens, and relaxing. We love the amount of light in the back room, and opening all the windows while enjoying morning coffee. We love the hardwood floors, and the amount of space we have to play, and hang out as a family.

The kitchen has a lot of cabinet and counter space and is a great place to cook dinner without bumping into each other. We have painted almost every square inch of this house! We have updated the kitchen, knocked down a wall to make the kitchen larger, replaced the windows in the back room and replaced the bay window.

We have upgraded the electric and added a closet to an upstairs bedroom. In the basement we have replaced all flooring, created storage space and expanded the finished portion to include a hallway to the bathroom.

In Catonsville, our neighborhood is very friendly with lots of kids. It is great for walking, riding bikes and trick or treating! We are close to the Trolley Line and love to walk to The Breadery. In the fall we like to ride our bikes to soccer practice at Catonsville Middle and we often visit Old Town Ellicott City. The B&O railroad museum is our favorite spot!

Our schools are Westchester Elementary, Catonsville Middle and Catonsville High School and they are some of the best in the area. Some of the things we love about living in Catonsville are the family activities including live music, parades, fireworks, library classes, and community events. We love the small town feel of Catonsville, while also having easy access to Baltimore City and Columbia.

Some of our favorite restaurants in the area are Catonsville Gourmet, La Palapa, State Fare, Peace a Pizza and The Black Kettle. We love going to the new Guinness brewery too, it is super close! The Grocery store we use is Giant which is just minutes away. It's very conveniently located for those times you forget a key ingredient in the middle of cooking or baking!

We moved to Catonsville because of the location. We can go to the pediatrician, the library, the vet, swimming lessons and dinner without ever leaving Catonsville, and we do! In Catonsville, the schools are wonderful, the fireworks are epic and there are many opportunities for adults and children to participate in community sports or classes. Patapsco State Park is located nearby where there are many hiking trails, beautiful views and fun playgrounds throughout the park.
